Eric is originally from Asheville, North Carolina and was raised on fried chicken and cornbread! God got a hold of Eric’s heart as a teenager, and he never got over it! He is a Worship Leader/Pastor, Speaker, Recording Artist, Musician and Composer. He enjoys running, playing his trumpet and guitar, doing photography, watching nascar, and spending time with his wife and kids. He has a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and is an ordained minister, who worked as a Worship and Student Pastor for many years before moving overseas with his family as IMB missionaries (musicianaries). He loves Jesus and is passionate about sharing God’s love with others whether over coffee or through his Trumpet!
Anissa Rose, born in the greater Philadelphia region in Pennsylvania, is a Singer-Songwriter, Recording Artist, Musician, Writer, Speaker/Bible Teacher, and Lover of Jesus! However, her favorite roles are wife/friend to Eric and Mamma to 3 wonderful sons! Besides spending time with her family, she enjoys tap dancing, writing, photography, learning languages and restoring old furniture! BTW, she is a devout Philadelphia 76ers fan! She has an associate’s degree in Biblical Studies and a bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies (focus in Psychology, Crisis Counseling and Bible). She has had a heart for missions since she was a child, and truly loves people and cultures, having worked and lived overseas in the Dominican Republic, Vancouver, Sweden and other parts of Europe. Her prayer is that her life would overflow with the love of God to all those around her.
Each day we live, we are writing another piece of our story – the story that is called our life. We each have one life to live, and that life can make a difference! Every story matters! Here is a little bit of ours...
HEARTS DRAWN TOGETHER THROUGH MUSIC!
“While in college my freshman year, I met my other half, Eric. It’s quite a funny story. We were both training in the gym at the same time, and I overheard him talking about guitars with a friend. So, I interrupted and asked, "Do you play the guitar? I do too." (Really? I had just started playing that Christmas break when my dad bought me a guitar.) Then he turned to me and jokingly asked me to marry him and said he always wanted to marry a girI who played the guitar. Weeks later, after hearing me sing a song I wrote in jest for my roomates, "Call 8051," he called my room (8051) and sang my song back to me and asked me out. So began our story together. As we began to play music with each other and talk about our passion for God and people, God knit our hearts together. We knew that God had created each of us to perfectly complete one another. It is a bonus to get to do ministry, write music and sing with the one that you love by your side! We had no idea that the journey God had in store for us would lead us to multiple states, countries, and continents.”

Our Journey of Faith
After many years in music and youth ministry, we started praying, “Whatever it is, the answer is YES.” That prayer in 2010 ultimately led to us selling most of what we owned and moving to Stockholm, Sweden in 2011 with our 2 young sons and 15 pieces of luggage. For 11 years, our family called Stockholm and Europe our home. God grew us and stretched us in so many ways during our time overseas. We are blown away by all that God allowed us to be a part of, witness and experience there. Though we recently moved back to the States, we will forever carry Sweden in our hearts (now we are dual citizens)! God taught us how to live “On Mission” both as individuals and as a family in Stockholm, and how to share His message of hope with those around us with what He placed in our hand. Now that same prayer, “Whatever it is, the answer if YES” has led us on a new journey of faith, where once again, we packed up our home, sold most of our belongings, and moved to the greater Philadelphia region. We don’t know all that the future holds, but we know that God has called our family to be “musicianaries”, inspiring life, love and hope through word and song!
